#2

See if the chemistry is right.

Getting to know each other without obligation

Interpersonal chemistry is important at RURASMUS – there has to be a spark between the student and the community, both personally and in terms of content. In order to find out whether the cooperation could work, we offer you the opportunity to get to know the community or the people responsible for your project without obligation. You get the chance to tell something about yourself and your professional interests and to ask questions. Of course this applies to both sides 😉

Make a decision.

Acceptance for your RURSAMUS semester

The municipality has received your application – and those of other interested students. Based on the impressions from the meeting and your letter of motivation, the responsible persons in the municipality decide with whom the chemistry might fit the best. If you are chosen, we will immediately tell you the good news and are happy that we can now start working together on the concrete details. From this point on, you will need someone at your college or university to supervise your RURASMUS project.

#5

Define goals together.

Thematic workshop and written agreement

In a joint online workshop with your university supervisor, the municipality and us from the RURASMUS Research Institute, we concretize the content of your work. In this way, we ensure that your RURASMUS project is feasible for you in one semester. Together we determine the time frame, important deadlines and milestones and also record these in a written agreement. In this agreement, all general conditions, special agreements, as well as your and our rights and obligations are set out.

Now we are ready to go!
