Ernsthofen is a favored community of the surrounding metropolitan areas of Linz, Steyr and Amstetten. As an influx community, its population is constantly growing. The municipality has responded actively and innovatively to the associated spatial challenges. Various housing offers have been implemented for the different interest groups. Overall, Ernsthofen has already done a lot for its positive community development. However, development always has something to do with change and this is not always perceived equally well/positively by everyone.
